Born in San Francisco, Jerry Chan holds a degree in computer science from Princeton University and recently earned an MFA in film production at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. While at USC, he was awarded the Harold Lloyd Production Scholarship as well as the John Frankenheimer Directing Scholarship for his outstanding work as a filmmaker. Jerry was also recognized by the Caucus for Television Writers, Producers, and Directors Foundation for his Master's Thesis film Fast Money and awarded a finishing grant to complete the project. He continues to travel the festival circuit with Fast Money and is currently a directing fellow with Film Independent's Project:Involve, where writer-director Zach Helm ( Stranger Than Fiction, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium) is his mentor.
Jerry's recently completed, DJ:LA, an experimental, music-based short film that remixes the frenzied sights and sounds of the Los Angeles landscape to uncover the rhthym and melody of the city. Jerry continues creating innovative short films while developing a number of feature film projects for the future. He recently launched Ringleader Productions, a commercial, music video, and new media production company that has over 20 years of combined experience in craft services.

A native of the Arizona high desert, Dino Hainline is currently working as a freelance writer, producer and casting director in Los Angeles, California. Having strong associations with the Palm Springs International Film Festival, he is also in training to become a premiere film festival programmer. He recently received his JD from the Law School at the University of Southern California and graduated from Princeton University with a concentration in Romance Languages and Literatures. He is interested in all aspects of film, from prospectus building and marketing to creative development and production design. |

Elijah Craig holds an MFA in Film & Television from the University of Southern California (2004). Before USC film school Eli worked as an actor, writer, and mountain guide. As an actor he played lead roles in several films, including: Space Cowboys, Carrie 2, The Rage, and Deal of a Lifetime. As a writer, Craig sold his first feature screenplay Touching the Void to Castlerock and later worked in development with producer Frank Marshall. An avid traveller and professional mountain guide, Craig has also led climbing trips to the summit of highest peaks in North and South America . He's also skied off the summit of Mt. Rainier, been caught in 2 coup d'etats, and been attacked by a rabid squirrel...he's fine though now, really. |

Cynthia Obsenares enjoys designing for independent feature film, television, stage- theatre and live performances. Back Stage West reviewed her designs in Sam Shepard's "The Unseen Hand" — "...costume designer, Cynthia Obsenares, makes good comedic use of the contrasts among the characters, each of whom is created in a distinct aesthetic." In between productions, Ms. Obsenares creates vintage-inspired, one-of-a-kind clothing for her loyal clients in television and film. A first generation Filipino-American from Chicago, Ms. Obsenares maintains an independent spirit and deep passion for fashion, music, culture and art, which catalyze her own revelations of self-expression.

A Bay Area native, Max Gutierrez graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Dean's Honors. Upon graduation, he joined the ad world, working in Broadcast Production at Goldberg Moser O'Neill and later at Goodby Silverstein and Partners in Broadcast Production in San Francisco. He then moved to Los Angeles and pursued opportunities in e-commerce as the Director of Marketing of SampleReels.com, a content distribution site for creative professionals. The dotcom "Gold Rush" did not pan out for Max, so he returned to school, enrolling at the University of Southern California in the Film and Video Production Department. Currently in his final semester, Max has focused on cinematography, shooting several short films, spec commercials, and music videos on 35mm film, and High Definition video, and he will be shooting his first feature-length project this fall. He plans to graduate in the winter of 2004 and hopes to work in commercial and music video production as a Director/Cinematographer. A career in the restaurant service industry is also an alluring possibility. |

Miguel began his career in Los Angeles in 2000 as an Actor and soon found Design to be the blood that runs through it. He has over 80 credits to his name including: Costume Designer, Production Designer, Art Director, Producer and Director. For the last few years he has made quite a name for himself in the LA Theater community where he met Archie Kao (Jin) and Dana Lee (Mr. Fong) on a production of Ten Thousand Years, by John Ridley (Three Kings) at the El Portal in North Hollywood. In the Fall of 2006 he will call AFI home for his two year fellowship as a Production Designer. Miguel's attention to detail, eye for color and keen storytelling through all aspects of design is what keeps him attached to every crew he works with.

Peter Samet earned an MFA in Film Production at USC's School of Cinema-Television. He made a name for himself as a picture editor, cutting several films as well as an assortment of independent shorts, trailers, music videos, and Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmaker spots. Upon graduation in 2004, Peter was awarded Pixar Animation Studios' sole editorial internship after winning their annual competition.
Peter currently lives in Los Angeles and works as a freelance editor in both film and television.

Andrew Kaiser began composing music seriously during his undergraduate study at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis). He continued his education in composition at New York University, and later at USC's Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program.
Mr. Kaiser's professional experience is as diverse as his music, ranging from scores for numerous motion pictures, television programs and concert stage works. His recent film credits include additional music in the films Taxi, Cheaper by the Dozen and Saved!. His music can also be heard on television in the shows Survivor, The Contender, and My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss.
